You can hear and speak directly to visitors from your Alexa device. This requires that you connect your Alexa device to an Arlo Video Doorbell, or Camera and say something like “Alexa, talk to the front door.” You can also ask Alexa to live stream video from your Arlo camera to display on Alexa devices with a screen.
To use 2-way talk with your Arlo and Alexa device, you must have the following:
- An Arlo Camera that is connected to an Arlo SmartHub or Arlo Base Station (VMB4000, VMB4500, VMB4540, VMB5000)
Note: 2-way talk with an Alexa device works on Arlo Video Doorbell when connected directly to Wi-Fi, an Arlo SmarHub, or an Arlo Base Station - The Amazon Alexa App
- An Alexa enabled device (Echo, Fire TV, Fire Stick, etc.)
- The Arlo Alexa Skill
