How to troubleshoot Arlo web client Flash errors when using Google Chrome

Some users of the Google Chrome Arlo web client may experience errors with Flash update.

If you attempted to update Flash and the orange banner pop-up did not disappear or a similar Flash message appears when attempting to stream a camera, you may need to update your Google Chrome settings to allow Flash.

If you quit Chrome, your Flash settings will not be saved. When you open Chrome, you will need to allow Flash again for any sites that you added before.

To change your settings to allow Flash on the Arlo web client:

  1. Log into the Arlo web client using the web address: https://my.arlo.com/#/login.
  2. Click the Lock icon to the left of the web address.
  3. Click Site settings. The Google Chrome Settings page will open in a new tab.
  4. Click the drop down arrow for Flash and select Allow.
  5. Go back to the tab with the Arlo web client site and reload the page.
