How do I remove my Arlo Essential Video Doorbell from the wall mount?

You can remove your Arlo Essential Video Doorbell (wired and wire-free configurations) from the wall mount without unscrewing anything or disconnecting any wires. To remove the doorbell from the wall, you need the release pin that came with your Arlo Essential Video Doorbell. You can also use a straightened paperclip or a similar object.

WARNING: Make sure that the power is turned off at the breaker if you plan to adjust the wiring on your Arlo Essential Video Doorbell.

To remove your Arlo Video Doorbell from the wall mount:

1. Locate the release pin that came with your Arlo Essential Video Doorbell.
   Alternatively, you can use a paperclip or a similar object.
   
2. Insert the release pin into the release pinhole at the top or bottom of the doorbell mount.
   A click occurs, and the doorbell is released from the mount.
   Note: The release pinhole is at the top of the doorbell on the wire-free version and at the bottom for the wired version.
3. Pull the doorbell off the mount.
