Arlo displays the message “Camera needs new batteries” after I replaced my batteries; what do I do?

To troubleshoot the “Camera needs new batteries” message:

  1. If you did not already replace your Arlo camera's batteries, replace them with a fresh set of batteries.
  2. If you still see the “Camera needs new batteries” message, log out of the Arlo app.
    To log out of the Arlo app, launch the app on your mobile device and select Settings > Profile > Log Out.
  3. After you log out, enter your user name and password to log back in to the Arlo app.
  4. If you still see the “Camera needs new batteries” error message, contact Arlo Support to speak to an expert.
