How can I use my Arlo Audio Doorbell to trigger an Arlo camera to record video?

Your Arlo Audio Doorbell can trigger your Arlo camera to record video.

Note: You can also use your Arlo Audio Doorbell to trigger the base station siren. For more information, visit How can I use my Arlo Audio Doorbell to trigger the base station siren?.

To set up the doorbell to trigger your camera to record:

1. Open the Arlo app.
2. Tap the Arlo Audio Doorbell.
3. Tap the menu icon (. . .) on the upper-right corner of the page to open it.
4. Tap Motion settings.
5. To receive alerts when your doorbell detects motion, tap Motion Triggered Alerts.
6. Tap Add Device.
   The Base Station is selected by default.
7. Tap your camera and then tap Next.
8. Tap Record video and then tap Next.
9. Select one of these options:
   • Record until activity stops (up to 300 sec)
   • Record for a fixed length of time (Then use the slider to select the number of seconds from 10 to 120.)
10. Tap Next.
    The Motion Settings page shows your settings in the Then do the following section.
11. Tap Done.
    When your doorbell detects motion, your camera automatically records video.
