How can I pair my Arlo cameras with Amazon Alexa?

With Alexa and the Arlo Alexa Skill, you can now access your Arlo cameras using voice commands. Using the Arlo Alexa Skill, you can ask Alexa to show the live feed from one of your cameras on your Echo Show, Echo Spot, or Fire TV. To take full advantage of these features, you need a supported and connected Arlo camera and one of the following Amazon devices:

  • Echo Show
  • Echo Spot
  • Fire TV (all generations)
  • Fire TV stick (second generation only)
  • Fire TV Edition smart TVs

Note: Availability of these Amazon devices varies by country.

All Arlo cameras are compatible with the Arlo Alexa Skill.

To enable the Arlo Alexa Skill:

  1. Make sure that your Arlo camera is powered on and connected to the cloud.
  2. Enable the Arlo skill in one of the following ways:
    • Ask Amazon Alexa “Alexa, enable Arlo skill” to receive instructions in your Alexa app to link your Arlo account with your Alexa account.
    • In the Alexa app, search for the Arlo Skill, then click Enable Skill to link your Arlo account with your Alexa account.
