What accessories can I use with my Arlo Essential wire-free camera?

The Arlo Essential wire-free camera is compatible with select Arlo SmartHubs and base stations, mounts, and charging cables.

You can connect your Arlo Essential wire-free camera to the following chargers and mounts:

• Micro USB type-A charging cable. The charging cable that came in the package with your Arlo Essential wire-free camera is meant for indoor charging only. If you want to charge your camera outdoors, while your camera operates, you must use the VMA3600 solar panel charger.
• VMA3600 solar panel charger. The VMA3600 solar panel charger can be used to charge your Arlo Essential wire-free camera outdoors. Do not use any other charger or charging cable to charge your camera outdoors.
• Outdoor/indoor screw mounts. Your Arlo Essential wire-free camera came with a short screw mount that you can use indoors or outdoors. You can also use any of the compatible screw mounts on Arlo.com.

Your Arlo Essential wire-free camera can optionally connect to a VMB5000, VMB4540, VMB4500, or VMB4540 SmartHub or base station. For more information, visit Can I connect my Arlo Essential wire-free camera to an Arlo SmartHub or base station?.

Note: A SmartHub or base station is optional. Your Essential wire-free camera can connect directly to a WiFi router.
