What Arlo subscription plans and cloud recording options are available?
An Arlo Secure subscription enables you to record in 2K or 4K video resolution, activate advanced object detection, create cloud activity zones, and much more.

- This provides a flexible and customizable experience for your Arlo system.
Arlo Secure
With an Arlo Secure subscription, you can record to the Arlo cloud with up to 2K video resolution on a single camera or multiple cameras. Your clips are saved for up to 30 days after recording. To sign up, visit: Arlo Secure Subscription Plans

Note:
- Multi-camera support plans apply only to Arlo cameras at a single residential location and on the same Arlo account.
- Due to hardware limitations, Arlo Ultra cameras cannot stream to the cloud in 2K and simultaneously record locally in quality higher than 2K. However, Arlo Ultra can simultaneously stream to the cloud and locally in 4K.
Arlo Secure Plus
With an Arlo Secure Plus subscription, you can record to the Arlo cloud with up to 4K video resolution on unlimited cameras. Your clips will be saved for 60 days after recording. - Extended Warranty
- If you have paid for Arlo Secure Plus for 6 months or more, you can enjoy an extended warranty.
- Your standard warranty period is extended by up to one year.
How Extended Warranty Eligibility Works
Example 1: Let’s say your new Arlo camera has a 12-month warranty. If you subscribe to Arlo Secure Plus for 6 of those months, you are eligible for the extended warranty. We will extend the warranty by 12 months automatically, for a total of 24 months of warranty coverage.
Example 2: Let’s say your new Arlo camera has a 24-month warranty. If you subscribe to Arlo Secure Plus for 6 of those months, we will automatically extend the warranty by 12 months. This totals 36 months of warranty coverage.
Note:
- To make an extended warranty claim, you must contact Arlo Support.
- The Support team will evaluate the warranty claim to ensure that eligibility conditions have been met.
- The Arlo Secure Plus Extended Warranty is only available in Europe.
No Plan
When the trial that was included with your camera purchase ends, you have the option to purchase an Arlo Secure or Arlo Secure Plus Plan to continue using features like cloud recording. You can also choose not to have a service plan.

CVR (Continuous Video Recording) – 24/7 recording
Some Arlo cameras can record non-stop to the Arlo cloud when plugged into AC power. To enable your Arlo cameras to record 24/7, you need to purchase a CVR plan for each Arlo camera.
