Arlo says that my Arlo Baby camera is busy; what do I do?

Arlo says that your camera is busy when you are already using one of the following features and you try to use a second one at the same time:

  • Local streaming (streaming video from Arlo Baby on a phone or computer that is connected to the same WiFi network as Arlo Baby)
  • Always Listening
  • Streaming in the Apple Home app

To avoid this busy message, do one of the following:

  • Access Arlo Baby from one device at a time.
  • Make sure that one of the devices that is accessing Arlo Baby is streaming from the Arlo cloud and is not connected to your home WiFi network.

For example, if you stream video on the same WiFi network as Arlo Baby, you cannot enable Always Listening or stream in the Apple Home app. However, if you disconnect your mobile device from your WiFi network and stream video from the Arlo cloud, someone else who has access can then stream video in the Home app or use Always Listening at the same time.
