My Arlo Security Light's LEDs are not blinking blue when I press the Sync button; what do I do?

If your Arlo Security Light is not syncing, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Make sure that the light is plugged in or a battery with at least 15% charge is inserted.
  • Make sure that you can feel a tactile clicking response when you press the Sync button. If you do not feel a clicking response, press the button harder.
  • Make sure that you press and hold the Sync button for about 5 secs, until the LEDs start blinking blue.

If your light still does not sync after trying these steps, try power cycling the light:

  1. Disconnect your Arlo Security Light’s AC adapter and remove the battery.
  2. Wait at least 20 seconds.
  3. Plug the light back in or reinsert the battery.
  4. Attempt to sync the light again.
