How do I change or cancel my Arlo subscription plan?

You must use the Arlo Android app or log in to your Arlo account on a computer to change or cancel your Arlo subscription plan. Arlo support experts and community moderators are not able to cancel your service, change your service, or provide a refund for the unused portion of your subscription.

Note: If you have a legacy Arlo Smart plan, you can’t make changes to your plan unless you switch to a new Arlo Smart plan.

Before you begin

When you change or cancel your plan:

  • All your recordings in the Arlo cloud are deleted.
    If you would like to save your recordings, download them before cancelling or changing your subscription.
  • If you cancel a legacy Arlo Smart plan, you will not be able to purchase that same plan again. Instead, you must purchase a new Arlo Smart plan.

  • If you cancel your subscription before the end of the subscription term, a prorated refund is automatically credited to your original method of payment.

Change or cancel your plan

To change your Arlo subscription plan:

  1. Launch the Arlo app on Android or log in to my.arlo.com.
    Note: You can’t make changes to your Arlo Smart subscription on an iOS (Apple) device.
  2. Tap or click Settings > Subscription.
  3. Tap or click Change Plan next to the Arlo Smart or CVR plan you want to change.
  4. Choose the services that you want to add or remove.
  5. Follow the onscreen instructions to check out your new Arlo Smart plan.

To cancel your Arlo subscription plan:

  1. Launch the Arlo app on Android or log in to my.arlo.com.
    Note: You can’t make changes to your Arlo Smart subscription on an iOS (Apple) device.
  2. Tap or click Settings > Subscription.
  3. Tap or click Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to select the plan(s) that you want to cancel.
