How do I set up my Arlo Baby camera?

If you are setting up your Arlo Baby camera with an iOS device, such as an iPhone, see the following article for a simpler setup process: How do I set up my Arlo Baby camera using an iOS device and the Arlo app?.

To set up your Arlo Baby:

1. Connect the smaller end of the USB cable to the port on the camera.
2. Plug the larger end of the USB cable into the power adapter.
3. Plug the USB power adapter into a wall socket and wait for the camera LED to blink amber.
4. For the best experience, download the Arlo app for your smartphone by searching for Arlo in the app store.
   Note: If you already use the Arlo app, make sure that you are using the latest version. To find out if an update is available, go to your mobile device’s app store and search for Arlo.
5. Launch the Arlo app on your mobile device, or visit my.arlo.com on a computer.
6. If you are new to Arlo, tap or click New to Arlo? and select Arlo Baby.
7. If you already have an Arlo account, log in and tap the + icon or click Add Device and select Arlo Baby.
8. Follow the onscreen instructions to connect your camera to your router.
   Note: Arlo Baby connects directly to your WiFi network. You cannot connect Arlo Baby to an Arlo base station or another Arlo camera.
9. (Optional) After you set up Arlo Baby, view the tutorial in the Arlo app to learn about Arlo Baby’s features and settings.
   If you decide not to view the tutorial now, you can restart it later from your Arlo Baby’s Settings page.
