To enable or disable motion detection or audio detection on Arlo devices:

1. Launch the Arlo Secure App.
2. Tap Routines.
3. Select Arm Away, Arm Home, or Standby.
4. Under Device Rules, select the Arlo device you want to edit.
   Note: If your device is connected to an Arlo SmartHub or Arlo Base Station, you must select the SmartHub or Base Station.
5. Tap Motion Detection or Audio Detection.
   Note: If Audio Detected is grayed out:
   Under WHEN, tap Manage your Smart Notification settings for Motion and Audio.
   Under SOUND DETECTION, enable one or all of the sound detection options. Options vary by device and plan.
   If you enable All Audio, tap Enable when the pop-up displays.
   Tap < to go back to Edit Device Rules.
6. Under THEN, enable an option, such as Record a Video, Activate Siren, etc.
   Note: Options vary by device. Audio Detection is not available on Arlo Essential wireless Cameras or Arlo Essential Outdoor Cameras (2nd Generation).
