Do I need an Arlo SmartHub or Base Station to use the Arlo Chime 2?

No. Your Arlo Chime 2 connects directly to your Wi-Fi router. After you connect your chime to a Wi-Fi router, you can pair it with an Arlo Video Doorbell.


Can I connect the Arlo Chime 2 to an Arlo SmartHub or Base Station?

No. You must connect your Arlo Chime 2 directly to your Wi-Fi router.


Can I use more than one Arlo Chime 2 with a single Arlo Doorbell?

Yes. You can pair more than one Arlo Video Doorbell with an Arlo Chime 2. For example, if you have two Arlo Video Doorbells, you can set both to trigger one Arlo Chime 2. You can also customize each doorbell melody, so you know which doorbell rang.


Does the Arlo Chime 2 run on battery power?

No. The Arlo Chime 2 must be plugged into a wall outlet indoors.


Can I use the Arlo Chime 2 outdoors?

No. The Arlo Chime 2 is meant for indoor use only.
