Arlo Catalog Connected Products

Type, format, and estimated volume of Data generated:

• Connected Products generate structured and exportable Data (e.g., event logs, device battery level, device type).
• The volume of Data generated varies depending on usage and will be generated in structured and exportable formats.

 

Continuous and real-time Data generation:

• Data will be generated and transmitted while devices are active and connected.
• Synchronization may occur periodically, depending on the settings of the device.

 

Data storage and retention period:

• Data is periodically transmitted to Arlo Technologies Inc.’s servers.
• It is stored for as long as necessary to provide the contracted services, ensure proper operation and maintenance of the devices and address technical issues.
• Data may be retained beyond this period where required by law, or until the Customer requests its deletion, if applicable.

 

Access, retrieval and deletion of Data:

• Customers have access to relevant Data through the following channels:

o   Mobile Application: Information regarding device status and settings (e.g., battery level, chronological notification logs,  device type),

o   Web Portal: Information regarding device status and settings (e.g., battery level, chronological notification logs, device type),

• For access to, retrieval of, or deletion requests concerning other Data not made available through the aforementioned means, Customers may contact us at: dataactenquiry@arlo-europe.com.

 

Arlo Smart Related Services

Nature and frequency of Data obtention by the Connected Product:

• Connected Products may collect personal Data (e.g., device OS type).
• Connected Products may obtain Data while they are in use, and on a regular basis through automatic periodic synchronization.

Nature, estimated volume of Related Service Data, storage, retention, and communication channels:

• Related Services may generate personal and aggregated Data (e.g., service usage, incidents, and support activities) in structured and exportable formats.
• The volume of Data generated varies depending on usage.
• Data may be synchronized to cloud servers and retained as necessary for service delivery and maintenance, unless deleted by the user or required longer by law.

 

Purpose of Data use:

• Data is used to provide and improve services, comply with legal obligations, or respond to emergencies.
• It will not be shared with third parties sharing without consent, unless legally required.
• Data may be pseudonymized for AI training and product improvement.
