Floodlight Settings

  1. How bright is the floodlight?
    The floodlight on the Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera can be adjusted up to a brightness of 2000 lumens.

  2. Can I adjust the brightness setting on the floodlight?
    Yes. You can adjust the brightness between 1-100%.

  3. Will the floodlight turn on during the daytime?
    The floodlight will turn on based on your Ambient Light Sensitivity settings. This allows you to adjust when the light activates.

  4. Does the floodlight offer different light patterns?
    Yes. You can adjust the light to constant or a pulsating pattern.

  5. Will the floodlight still operate if the camera goes offline?
    Yes. The floodlight on the Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera will still respond to motion detection and activate the floodlight. The camera will not record if the device is offline, but the floodlight will still respond to motion detection.

  6. Can I set the floodlight to turn on and off on a set schedule?
    Yes, you can set your Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera to run on a schedule or create an automation to control how and when it operates.

  7. Can I set the floodlight to trigger when motion is detected?
    Yes. The floodlight is set to trigger when motion is detected. You can adjust this setting in the Arlo Secure App.

  8. Will the floodlight remain on after motion recording stops?
    Yes, if you set the floodlight camera to record 'until motion stops', the floodlight will remain on for the amount of time determined in the device settings.

  1. How wide is the viewing angle on the Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera?
    The lens is a 160° diagonal lens.

    Yes. The Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera has a microphone that allows you to hear and speak to visitors.

    Yes. The siren can be set to trigger automatically when motion or sound is detected, or manually via the Arlo Secure App.

    No. The camera and floodlight are integrated together in the Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera.

  2. Does the Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera include mounting hardware?
    Yes. The Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera comes with the appropriate mounting hardware allowing you to mount the device on a wall or ceiling.

  3. Is the Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera weather-resistant?
    Yes. The Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera is weather-resistant and built to withstand heat, cold, rain, and sun.

  4. Are the lights and camera adjustable on the Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera?
