Video history:

Depending on your subscription, you have access to:

• 7 days Cloud storage for Single and Multi Plan with 2K resolution

• 14 days of Cloud storage for the Secure Plus plan with 4K resolution

Activity zone:

This feature allows you to define specific areas for motion detection to reduce false alerts. You can create multiple activity zones for each compatible device.

Object (people, animal, package) detection:

This feature sends you alerts to specify when a person, package, vehicle or animal is detected. You can choose to filter out the events you do not wish to be notified about.

VIP customer support:

VIP customer support only included for Secure Plus users. It gives you access to priority care & support including: priority agent routing, live chat and phone support, and help centre access.

Theft replacement:

If your Arlo device is stolen, eligible device owners can receive a replacement through the Arlo theft replacement program. You can find the list of eligible devices on our support pages.

Flame detection :

Flame detection is only included for Secure Plus users, who subscribed after the 7th of August. You need to have 4.0 version of the Arlo Secure App to have access to this functionality.

Flame detection provides alerts when your Arlo camera detects visible flames. Arlo’s video-based flame detection feature is a supplementary tool and should not replace standard fire detection system such as smoke detectors, conventional alarms or proper safety measures. Flame detection specifically looks for characteristics of a flame and does not detect or react to smoke.

To detect flames, your camera needs to be armed for motion detection with the Flame feature enabled.

Known Person Detection:

Known Person Detection is only included for Secure Plus users, who subscribed after the 7th of August. You need to have the 4.0 version of the Arlo Secure App to have access to this functionality. Maximum of 50 people per device.

Known Person Detection is only available on one device per plan. Video Doorbell is not compatible with Known Person Detection in EU regions. You are responsible for complying with any local laws or regulations that relate to your use of the Known Person Detection feature. This may include you providing notice and obtaining consent from people who may be recognised by your camera.

Vehicle Recognition:

Vehicle Recognition is only included for Secure Plus users, who subscribed after the 7th of August. You need to have the 4.0 version of the Arlo Secure App to have access to this functionality with compatible devices.

This feature provides dedicated alerts when your camera detects a known or saved vehicle.

Custom AI Detection:

Custom AI Detection is only included for Secure Plus users, who subscribed after the 7th of August. You need to have 4.0 version of the Arlo Secure App to have access to this functionality. Maximum of 3 custom detections per device.

This feature allows you to teach your camera to recognise certain objects or changes in view such as doors or windows open/closed, so you get specific notifications.
